About Us
Our Philosophy
We strive to serve underrepresented communities in all aspects of our work. To uphold this philosophy, we seek to hire women, particularly Women of Color. Similarly, we choose our clients based on their work with community and their commitment to DEI. One such client is the Women of Color Initiative, for which Sandra Barnhill has been the lead consultant since its inception in 2018. We also provide work pro bono to at least one client annually; in 2023, it is College AIM.
Our Experience
Sandra Barnhill & Associates has 30+ years in the nonprofit field, working at the highest levels of executive leadership. Associates have experience in program development and implementation, training and coaching junior staff, raising an annual operating budget, and managing the day-to-day affairs of a community-based organization.

Our Founder
SANDRA BARNHILL - FOUNDER & CEO
Sandra Barnhill has 30+ years in the nonprofit field, working at the highest levels of executive leadership. She founded Foreverfamily in 1987, a nonprofit that serves children and families of incarcerated parents, and she continuously uses her skills to consult for other nonprofits. She specializes in program development and implementation, training and coaching staff, fundraising, and managing the day-to-day affairs of community-based organizations. Her legal background, direct service, and policy work make her uniquely qualified to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
